Bring a live Bee Tour to your Classroom!

Bring “the most important species on earth” inside your classroom! Bird and Bee Hawai’i offers an engaging in-person experience to teach students about bees in a safe and sustainable way. Our beekeeper will provide a brief interactive lesson about the life of honeybees in Hawaii. Topics include biology, tools of the trade, and societal structures of the beehives. Students will then have the opportunity to examine live bees in an observation hive. This hour-long session also includes: 

-Trying on a bee suits

-Bee-themed craft

-Honey tasting
